Season Six of the Tall el-Hammam Excavation Project (TeHEP) ran from 8 December 2010 through 27 January 2011. During this season, a new 10-year Joint Scientific Project Agreement was inaugurated between the College of Archaeology of Trinity Southwest University (Albuquerque, NM, USA) and the Department of Antiquities of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The TeHEP Team made great strides during Season Six, including excavations on the Bronze Age fortification systems, the temple complex, and a numerous houses revealing continuous occupation which lasted for many centuries. Human skeletal remains appeared with frequency in the MB2 destruction matrix, giving dramatic evidence of the city's violent end. You can examine the official "TeHEP Season Activity Reports" under Reports (above), or you can enjoy a lighter overview of the dig season in our "Season Six 2011 Photo Review."

The "Season Six 2011 Photo Review" is presently in production.
